The Libertarian Club Libek is a non—profit, non—governmental and non—partisan organization that is creating a liberty friendly environment in Serbia and the Western Balkans through education and policy work.
Prosperity is impossible without respect for individual liberty. The way to stable welfare is possible only if each individual defines on their own, according to their personal abilities, their goals without any intervention from outside.
The greatest threat to individual freedom comes from the coercive mechanisms of the state. We believe that the role of the state is to protect the lives and property of the citizens and ensure that contracts among them are respected. Every expansion of government’s jurisdiction beyond these limits presents a threat to individual freedom.
As an organization, we insist on the ideas of individual liberty, free market and limited government!

Libek has reached out to thousands of young people in Serbia and the region through seminars, documentaries, lectures and panel discussions. We are proud of our work with high school students, university students and activists of the political parties and the civil society organizations in Serbia and the region. The Libertarian Club is financed through donations and sponsorships from private sources – foundations, companies and individuals.
In 2011 the Libertarian Club won the European Resource Bank Shark Tank Competition Award.
