The Liberal Policy Academy is the award-winning project of the Libertarian Club. The project will start in February 2012 and will consist of a semester long educational program for the students of political science, economics, law and related disciplines. The participants will learn how to analyze public policy from the libertarian perspective, write policy proposals and advocate the ideas of individual liberty, free market and limited government. The program will also offer opportunities for internships and further learning.
The members of the Libertarian Club participated in the Liberty Forum, an annual international conference organized by the Atlas Network. This year the conference was held in New York City. The conference brought together around 400 participants, representing organizations from over 40 countries.
The keynote speaker at the Freedom dinner was the Nobel prize laureate, Mario Vargas Llosa.
The members of the Libertarian Club also visited Washington DC, where they attended two conferences organized by the Cato Institute: "Ending the Global War on Drugs" and the "29th Annual Monetary Conference".
